I’m going through my stats daily, and spend a day a week to perform a more in-depth analysis.

It doesn’t have anything to do with indexing though, what did you mean by that?

Alex the avg inlink takes 60 to 90 days to be indexed and qualified so my question is how many times a month do you spend "hours" looking at your stats? Alex's last blog post..Comment Reactions

Great post, Alex. I echo that note-taking idea (i.e. recording ideas as they come). If I don’t, I tend to forget about them — and they just vanish away. I’ve tried recording it on a laptop, but I’ve found the best way is the old-school traditional approach: keeping a little notepad near you at all times, and scribbling whatever ideas come to your head (then transferring it in electronic form at a better time).

If I don´t have inspiration to write, I just don´t.
I´ll go on doing other things, go outside or do any of the other zillion tasks always around and inspiration will just come.

The getting sidetracked bit is a big thing I need to work on though, so much to read, so many interesting blogs to visit, like yours
