Single field offers, aka email-submit and zip-submit offers, are CPA offers that require only one filed to be filled out for you to get paid.

What do they offer to the user? Could be everything!
Free Gift Cards, Free Product Samples, LCD screens, PCs and MACs, etc…

Usually the user would enter his email or zip to be “qualified”, and then proceed to follow other instructions. You, however, get paid immediately after he submits that one field. What he does or does not afterwards is not your concern.

I know many people that don’t even look at those offers because the pay is only between $1 to $2 US. At first glance, nothing to write home about, but it really ads up if you know how to market those suckers.

The best thing about those offers is that for you to get paid, the user doesn’t have to whip out his credit card. Once he submits his email or zip, you get paid. That’s why the conversion rates on those offers are higher than any other. An email or zip submit offer can sometimes convert at 30%.

Almost every CPA network carries those, including Market Leverage, which is great.

What to pay attention to?

Price
Obviously enough, you have to get cheap traffic. Although conversion rates are high, you still can’t afford to buy clicks for $0.5, or even $0.2, and expect to make money with it.
I mean really cheap. $0.01-$0.08, or free…

Targetting
To boost conversions you have to target your campaigns properly. Make a profile of who would be interested in an offer and figure out how to get that specific audience to fill out that zip/email submit.

Yea I know, easier said than done, but with the right tools you can find out how to make the most of your money (Google Insights for Search *wink, wink*)

Preselling
No presell for these… These are simple, matter of fact offers. A presell attempt would only confuse the punter, and make him wonder wtf is going on.

Imagine an ad saying “Get a Free Wii For Participating in a Brief Survey”, then getting to a presell page that basically says the same with some other bs, and only then getting to the offer page, where again they are going to be pitched a Wii for participating.

Maintenance
Always keep an eye on your conversion rates. Some of you may be familiar with scrubbing. Scrubbing is when a merchant decides not to register some of your sales.

This could be for many reasons, which I will not mention here. Maybe in another post

But, this means that at some point you might see a drop in your conversion rates from, say, 20% to 5%. When this happens it is time to look for another offer.

My Pitch

Ha! How can I end this post without pitching you guys something for desert?

One of the techniques taught at PPC-Coach is marketing single field offers and provides very useful and tried methods to get those work for you. These are elemental and once mastered can be expanded to other types of offers as well.

So… grab my $25 rebate and join PPC-Coach!

* Important Update: PPC-Coach is having an Anniversary Promo during September and you get to try it out for only $22.22 for the first month. This are good news, but the better news are that I’m still giving you a 50% discount. You will end up paying only $11.11!!!

So, being too lazy to mess with what’s written below — During September I’m not going to issue $25 rebates, but $11.11 rebates.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If you haven’t read my review of PPC-Coach I posted a few days ago, by all means do. Should you decide to join us at PPC-Coach I will make your day with a nice bonus – a 50% discount.
I’ve just finished talking to a buddy of mine, who is also a member, and I decided to give up my commission of $25 CAD in favor of my readers that sign up with PPC-Coach.
Join PPC-Coach and I’ll PayPal you 50% of your fee for the first month: that’s about $21 US. (This offer is live until I state otherwise right here)
That’s your chance to give it a try for a month and see what all the fuss is about. I can assure you though that you probably will NOT cancel your subscription.
What’s the catch? Get this free eBook as well.
Basically this is not a catch. There’s a simple 2 step process described on my members page. Sign Up to get a password (it’s free, lol) using the opt-in form on the top right.
What I want to pitch you is this ebook that was written and offered to me by the Coach (yes, the coach of PPC-Coach) in order to promote the program.
You don’t have to become a member of PPC-Coach to read it. But, please read it. You don’t have nothing to loose.
Very few books innovate anything for anyone these days, but this one lists 62 mistakes avoid when using Adwords. There are many that were a surprise to me.
This ebook is a glimpse on the kind of valuable advice you get being a member. Read it before, during or after your registering with PPC-Coach, but do read it. It’s short and to the point.
This ebook is free, but in order to get it (yea, you guessed right) I would like you to join me as a member of Net-Entrepreneur.com!
In order to do this, use the opt-in form on the top right. Not only you’ll get access to my Members area and all the free stuff that I’ve stocked there for my members, you will receive my newsletter once in a while as well.
You’ll have to trust me when I say I do not intend to pitch you offers 10 times a week. Just the occasional advice / PPC technique or an invite to read an interesting post on my blog.
Thanks and enjoy!
Two months ago I was contemplating entering the PPC Affiliate Marketing game. I was starting to shift to reading PPC related blogs and struggle with myself about plunging in and trying out Adwords with some offer – any offer, just to test what is this all about.
Surprisingly enough, it was John Chow’s blog that got me to look at PPC-Coach. He was pitching a rather overpriced coaching program started by one of the reigning “super affiliates”, and in one of the comments I saw a suggestion to check out PPC-Coach since it was cheap and offered loads of value – only $49CAD.
Since I knew this commentator from other blogs, and I knew he was not into pitching sleazy offers (hell, he didn’t even put his affiliate link up there even though I asked for it), I went on to check out this PPC-Coach.
A simple recap of everything on PPC-Coach
PPC-Coach stands on three pillars (omg, I’m a poet):
Videos and tutorials bringing you up to date on what this program is all about.
An active forum where the Coach himself helps out other members. Very unlike other coaching program forums where the “founder” is nowhere to be seen.
A set of tools (see below) that you will need to do PPC. This set of tools is a must for every PPC marketer, and I saw similar tools sold separately elsewhere for big bucks.
Basically what’s going to happen when you sign up is that you watch the videos, go to the section of the forum called Month1. There you will be told the exact technique, offers and tools you’re going to use during that first month.
You will actually know what and how to promote. Trying to decide this alone is what makes many quit even before starting. I know, because I spent two months searching for offers and thinking about how to sell them, lol…
Then you actually start working and use the forum as your support network, which IMO is the most value for your buck (yes, there’s the tools, but tools without knowing how to use them don’t worth a penny). Having the people on the forum to back you up and answer the stupidest of your questions is worth a world to me.
Did you ever try asking anything (that is trivial to others) on WickedFire or the WarriorForum? No? You will have 30 replies convincing you that you’re a noob, that they are all better than you, and eventually you don’t get anything.
Everyone in PPC-Coach were noobs once (although there are a few that are making over $2,000 a day, but they are there for, like, a year..), and it’s based on helping each other not on bragging how good one is and how crappy is the other.
What’s Next?
Every month you’re introduced to a new technique and another market/merchant/offer. It is usually a more advanced method and you should really move on when you’re comfortable with the previous month. And here is another great thing about it – It drives you forward. You stop working, you stop making money. As simple as that.
What would you probably not like about PPC-Coach?
You have to be prepared that there’s a massive amount of information revealed to you once you sign up. The videos, the text guides and the forum threads that you cannot miss… You will spend the first week reading, digesting info and trying to go insane.
The other thing is that the Coach assumes you have some basic technical skill, i.e.: setting up a hosting account, buying domains, creating subdomains, ftp clients. Although it’s not usually a problem, because the other members are eager to help, I would dedicate a special “completely clueless” tutorial to give an overview of everything basic.
My Sumary
If you want to stop dreaming and start doing you need a mentor or a coach to drive your forward, offer you a helping hand, criticize and praise your work. There are a few programs out there that offer you PPC coaching, but most are all hype and don’t live up to expectations.
PPC-Coach will offer you this set of tools:
Keyword Tracker – a very cool tracker software with lots of automation that keeps track of your campaigns, adgroups, keywords and ads in realtime. There are members using Prosper202 now switching to this one, because of how fast you can setup a campaign with it. (a campaign with rotating landing pages and rotating offers takes minutes. Did you ever try doing this with Prosper? Could take a good hour and a half…)
Campaign Generators – these will let you build large campaigns in a minute. Ever hear of Speed PPC?
URL Scrapers
Iframe Scripts
Landing Site Generators
Keyword Wrappers
Budget Calculators
Offers Database
You will have the help of the members of the program and the help of the coach himself.
For a this price it is a bargain. For 49CAD you should give it a try for at least a month and then decide. Don’t be with a “Did I miss an opportunity” feeling this time.
Oh yea, wait for my next post – I might me able to give you a further discount.
EDIT (14/01/09): Ok, now it’s official – I’m giving you a 50% discount… head over here to read about it
Whoaa, my first PPC campaign is in the air. And yes, it is a big deal.
Notice how much time has passed since I’ve posted about changing track to affiliate marketing. It’s been almost a month. It’s a lot of time, and I used it to overcome a flaw everyone has: the need to make everything perfect before actually going live with anything.
You see, in PPC marketing it is virtually impossible for a beginner to set up everything perfect and think everything through in advance. You are bound to make mistakes and the sooner you get campaigns up and running the better.
This realization took me a month. People at PPC-Coach were shouting at me to launch asap, and I knew they are right. But, I think it is embedded somewhere so deep in the subconscious, it is very hard to reset.
But, thank heavens, my campaign is up and I’m off to my second launch. This time it will go a lot faster (I hope), with the added oil to the mechanism.
Importance of a social <del datetime="2008-12-21T06:45:28+00:00">safety</del> Network
With PPC marketing, and with anything else for that matter, you can buy ebooks, sign up to online courses and whatnot. You can jump in and try it alone, if you want. With any of the above what you have is yourself and the net. And it can get really cold out there sometimes.
While getting ready to launch my first campaign, at least 4 different questions were hanging out there with each step I took. Each of them could tilt the result of your effort from great success through a mere breakeven towards a total stinker.
Enter PPC-Coach. It is not an ebook. It is not an online course. It is a community.
People that only a month ago were in your position – sitting ducks, yellow-mouthed hatchlings – are now more experienced and ready to answer the stupidest of your questions.
Why? Because they know that feeling of staring at the screen, trying to decide whether it’s your ad that sucks or is it the bid that’s too low. Use 600 keywords with ‘phrase’ match or 2,000 keywords with ‘broad’? Is 500,000 impressions with only 10 clicks normal for the Content network?
You see, a strong community on which you can rely to answer you questions is so much help it’s better than your next bestseller PPC ebook tenfold.
So, I’m off down the PPC rabbit hole. Till next time…
Well boys and girls, this has been in the oven for quite a while now.
Actually, the oven was on during the whole last year of me blogging on this blog. The problem was that blogging is way too comfortable for someone like me. You sit down in your home office, you write, you’re being social..
Anyway, this <strike>comfort</strike> zone had a high fence around it with barbed wire and German shepherds trying to keep me in. But, I’ve finally made the switch and going into PPC affiliate marketing full time.
Hooray! And, as you can see I’m still blogging though. Lol.. And that’s the way it is going to be. What better way of keeping your spirits than having a place to vent your frustrations or share your success?
First Steps in PPC
Well, what are the first steps I took before plunging in?
Started reading a few PPC related blogs. This is something I neglected during the year. WHAT? Why? Well, I was following bloggers trying to make money with their blogs. Some were succeeding, but most were not.
Do you know how hard it is to make money with your blog? No? Well it is. You have to have tons of traffic, tons of followers (rss, twitter, etc.). You don’t have traffic – you don’t have nothing.
I now realize that I should have spent my time following the leading affiliate marketers on their blogs. But, wtf. The year was well spent and I learned alot.
Joined a coaching program. I think this is the most important part of my progress. Without the continuous fuel and motivation it gives me to push forward I’d probably never would have gotten out from the “zone”.
I knew there were a few of those around, and I’ve tried to compare and read reviews before deciding which one to join.
I finally made my choice and joined PPC-Coach. The program offers a great set of tools and it has a great community which is constantly active on the forums. And, of course, there’s the coach, which personally sends you feedback when you ask for it.
The hardest part in the beginning is to stop reading and start doing. That’s exactly what the coaching does. It walks you through a few guides, few of which you might already picked up elsewhere, and then smacks you in the face, forcing you to get your butt up and do some actual PPC.
Great!
Well, that’s it for today. I’m off to pursue my dream. (Where are you headed?)
