Amazon Sub-Id Tracking
Another exciting moment in my IM career:
Despite what they told me all over the forums and the blogs, sub-id tracking (keyword tracking) is possible when promoting products on Amazon.

And it’s quite straightforward too. This precious report gives you the exact technique: Amazon Keyword Tracking

The Fuss

Tracking your campaigns on a keyword level is the corner stone of PPC affiliate marketing. Because if you don’t know which keyword generated sales and which didn’t, or more importantly which generated enough to cover its costs, you are just flushing money down the drain.

I usually don’t allow guesswork in my campaigns because it is a recipe for disaster. I’m basing my moves on preliminary research and data I gather during the testing stage of the campaign.

That’s why I didn’t promote Amazon in the past, just because I thought (no, I was sure) that tracking keywords on Amazon was not possible. Hence, making me spend my money on keywords I couldn’t possibly know are converting.

Well, I’m relieved to say that now I can promote those few Amazon products I always wanted because I know how to track my keywords. The technique is clever and rather simple (…simple, not easy…) but once you set everything up you’re good to go. Their support is excellent.

PS

I’m also promoting that report, in case you haven’t noticed, and since it’s becoming sort of a tradition here: this time you are getting a discount as well.
