Hooray! I won the 5th Affiliate Marketing Challenge run by Tyler Cruz!!!
OK, ok, keep your pants on – I’ve not become a PPC guru overnight or anything.
What I won is the prize for the part of the challenge intended for lame bloggers that can’t do any better. lol…
Nevertheless it’s a good feeling to win, and I hope that this or the following month I will be in the real winners’ list.
This month’s challenge is bigger than ever, having great prizes (but, also more contestants). Go over there and win something while it’s easy enough. Give it one or two months and it’ll be too crowded with experts going after the iPods and the Laptops. (This month there’s a Segway i2 as one of the prizes! wtf?! I want one.)
This challenge is a great way to put pressure on yourself to succeed in affiliate marketing.
Take PPC for example. You’re bound to loose money in the beginning. This is a fact and one of the rules of the game.
But with a challenge, even if you’re not breaking even, there’s a possibility for a great prize to make you feel warm and fuzzy inside. (segway, segway… aaaaa..)
“There is a total of $11,475 worth of prizes up for grabs, including a 60-inch 1080 HDTV, Sony 60GB HD Camcorder, HP Compaq Notebook, and yes… even a freaking Segway i2!
Whether you’re a super affiliate, medium affiliate, or brand new to affiliate marketing, we have prizes aimed just for your skill level. We even have prizes for bloggers who post about this contest, so everybody is eligible to win a prize as long as you either do affiliate marketing or have a blog.” (TylerCruz.com)
To get the prizes you’ll have to sign up to Market Leverage using Tyler’s affiliate link and do what you do best. You cannot participate, though, if you are already working with Market Leverage. Oh wait – that’s not entirely correct. You can still write a blog post promoting the contest and get a chance to win a bloggers’ prize.
Now, go and have some affiliate fun at Tyler’s!

Congrats on winning the challenge! The blogging aspect is equally important to the affiliate marketing aspect, and anyone who participates is doing an excellent job in my book. Good luck competing against the Behemoth for the Segway, I’m looking forward to giving that away!

Thanks Dina,
The Behemoth is huge. I’d love to sneak a peek at what offers he’s running…
LOL well I can’t help with that, but Tyler did interview him a few challenges back. There was some great content!

Congrats on the win. I am in a Cruz like challenge this month (with a different affiliate program) and can’t get it going. I would like to really ramp for when Cruz posts how outsider can join his contest. I signed up with ML under a different affiliate and now wish I knew about Tyler’s contest before then.
Funny thing about the contest I am in, I am putting all this effort in a program/contest and not getting anywhere. I still have some Market Leverage stuff running and ML is still making more money than this program/contest I working hard at.

You’re omnipresent!!
Everywhere I go I see you commenting!
Dude, don’t feel bad about not being able to participate in this challenge. If I had enough experience to actually win the big prizes I would’ve happily given them up, because having those skills you can generate enough income to purchase that laptop, or that iphone, or whatever without a second thought.
So, do whatever you can to improve and never give up. This game can be very draining. Mentally and physically (moonlighting)…
Congrats on the win, and even better luck next time!
