Changing TrackWell boys and girls, this has been in the oven for quite a while now.

Actually, the oven was on during the whole last year of me blogging on this blog. The problem was that blogging is way too comfortable for someone like me. You sit down in your home office, you write, you’re being social..

Anyway, this comfort zone had a high fence around it with barbed wire and German shepherds trying to keep me in. But, I’ve finally made the switch and going into PPC affiliate marketing full time.

Hooray! And, as you can see I’m still blogging though. Lol.. And that’s the way it is going to be. What better way of keeping your spirits than having a place to vent your frustrations or share your success?

First Steps in PPC

Well, what are the first steps I took before plunging in?

  1. Started reading a few PPC related blogs. This is something I neglected during the year. WHAT? Why? Well, I was following bloggers trying to make money with their blogs. Some were succeeding, but most were not.
Do you know how hard it is to make money with your blog? No? Well it is. You have to have tons of traffic, tons of followers (rss, twitter, etc.). You don’t have traffic – you don’t have nothing.

I now realize that I should have spent my time following the leading affiliate marketers on their blogs. But, wtf. The year was well spent and I learned alot.

  2. Joined a coaching program. I think this is the most important part of my progress. Without the continuous fuel and motivation it gives me to push forward I’d probably never would have gotten out from the “zone”.
I knew there were a few of those around, and I’ve tried to compare and read reviews before deciding which one to join.

I finally made my choice and joined PPC-Coach. The program offers a great set of tools and it has a great community which is constantly active on the forums. And, of course, there’s the coach, which personally sends you feedback when you ask for it.

The hardest part in the beginning is to stop reading and start doing. That’s exactly what the coaching does. It walks you through a few guides, few of which you might already picked up elsewhere, and then smacks you in the face, forcing you to get your butt up and do some actual PPC.

Great!

Well, that’s it for today. I’m off to pursue my dream. (Where are you headed?)
