Yes I do.

Most of the times I don’t spend more than 10 minutes though.. I adjust and optimize later on, when I analyze my stats.

You are absolutely right about “ad blindness” and it isn’t only for google ads. I’ve found that you get better click throughs and actions when you alternate between ads and ad locations. I’m still experimenting and learning more about it.

I also agree that the type of reader you have makes a big difference. I’ve only recently started working on the SEO aspects of websites and blogging. So much to learn.
