Two months ago I was contemplating entering the PPC Affiliate Marketing game. I was starting to shift to reading PPC related blogs and struggle with myself about plunging in and trying out Adwords with some offer – any offer, just to test what is this all about.
Surprisingly enough, it was John Chow’s blog that got me to look at PPC-Coach. He was pitching a rather overpriced coaching program started by one of the reigning “super affiliates”, and in one of the comments I saw a suggestion to check out PPC-Coach since it was cheap and offered loads of value – only $49CAD.
Since I knew this commentator from other blogs, and I knew he was not into pitching sleazy offers (hell, he didn’t even put his affiliate link up there even though I asked for it), I went on to check out this PPC-Coach.
PPC-Coach stands on three pillars (omg, I’m a poet):
Basically what’s going to happen when you sign up is that you watch the videos, go to the section of the forum called Month1. There you will be told the exact technique, offers and tools you’re going to use during that first month.
You will actually know what and how to promote. Trying to decide this alone is what makes many quit even before starting. I know, because I spent two months searching for offers and thinking about how to sell them, lol…
Then you actually start working and use the forum as your support network, which IMO is the most value for your buck (yes, there’s the tools, but tools without knowing how to use them don’t worth a penny). Having the people on the forum to back you up and answer the stupidest of your questions is worth a world to me.
Did you ever try asking anything (that is trivial to others) on WickedFire or the WarriorForum? No? You will have 30 replies convincing you that you’re a noob, that they are all better than you, and eventually you don’t get anything.
Everyone in PPC-Coach were noobs once (although there are a few that are making over $2,000 a day, but they are there for, like, a year..), and it’s based on helping each other not on bragging how good one is and how crappy is the other.
Every month you’re introduced to a new technique and another market/merchant/offer. It is usually a more advanced method and you should really move on when you’re comfortable with the previous month. And here is another great thing about it – It drives you forward. You stop working, you stop making money. As simple as that.
You have to be prepared that there’s a massive amount of information revealed to you once you sign up. The videos, the text guides and the forum threads that you cannot miss… You will spend the first week reading, digesting info and trying to go insane.
The other thing is that the Coach assumes you have some basic technical skill, i.e.: setting up a hosting account, buying domains, creating subdomains, ftp clients. Although it’s not usually a problem, because the other members are eager to help, I would dedicate a special “completely clueless” tutorial to give an overview of everything basic.
If you want to stop dreaming and start doing you need a mentor or a coach to drive your forward, offer you a helping hand, criticize and praise your work. There are a few programs out there that offer you PPC coaching, but most are all hype and don’t live up to expectations.
PPC-Coach will offer you this set of tools:
You will have the help of the members of the program and the help of the coach himself.
For a this price it is a bargain. For 49CAD you should give it a try for at least a month and then decide. Don’t be with a “Did I miss an opportunity” feeling this time.
Oh yea, wait for my next post – I might me able to give you a further discount.

Nice review. Are you saying that PPC Coach actually points you to specific offers that you promote on your own as a learning tool?
Mark Mason’s last blog post..$250 Free AdWords Coupon (New Accounts)
Hi Mark,
That’s exactly what I’m saying.
Specific offers, specific technique, ad strategy, keyword strategy…
It’s not like they set up the whole campaign for you though. They simply give you what you would have spent days doing, and then you go ahead and do PPC instead of staring at 100’s of offers at CJ, ClickBank or any other network of choice.
Stay tuned though, I’m setting up a nice “try before you buy offer” (well, sort of..) for my next post.
Cheers,
Alex
hey Alex!
and certainly a detailed review you gave there! Thing is I still don´t even dare to get near PPC, maybe someday in the future so I will make sure to keep checking your updates to see how you are doing!
that sounds like a pretty cool program
Mirjam’s last blog post..Ever Thought of Monetizing Your Exit Traffic?
What was that that you did to scare you off like that?
Did you forget to limit your campaign?
Did you forget about a campaign and went on a 2 week vacation?
i thought i had set the limit on a campaign but somehow it didn´t go through correctly or whatever, found out only after i wanted to charge something on my cc and couldn´t and when checking what was going on, it turned out there was a huge ppc bill that had maxed it out …. *ouch*
Mirjam’s last blog post..Ever Thought of Monetizing Your Exit Traffic?
Ahh, crap.
That’s one painful mishap.
I think you should get back on the horse though. The money is in PPC, missy…
Isn’t the money really in selling these coaching services and e-books ?
Well, as with any product that comes with an affiliate program, those coaching services and ebooks do have a potential to generate income. Some more than others.
Hi Alex,
Two quick questions…
1) I’m on the edge here…are you giving any discounts for October?
2) For now, I’m looking to learn PPC to drive targeted traffic to my clients who are small/ medium sized businesses in my local area. Would this program still be a good fit, if I’m not ready for CPA and affiliate marketing, quite yet?
Thanks Alex.
Hey Scott,
First of all, yes, I’m giving discounts as usual — 50% of the PPC-Coach fee for the first month.
2. If you learn driving targeted traffic to CPA offers you will also master driving traffic to local businesses as well. After all, this is PPC-Coach not Affiliate-Coach…
